The book of Job examines God’s role in a world where suffering touches every life. When great personal loss and agonizing disease descend on the godly man Job, his trust in God is challenged. He struggles to figure out why a loving God would allow such pain. Many spiritual truths are revealed in this unique study.
In I and 2 Peter, the apostle Peter offered encouragement to followers of Christ who were living as exiles and being persecuted for their faith. These books exhort believers to hope and godly living. They teach about godly relationships and warn about false teachers. They point to Jesus as our example in suffering and faith, and remind us that true security can be found only in God.
Christian Leadership emphasizes the essentials necessary for a church to be united and grounded in God’s truth. In these three letters to young pastors (1 and 2 Timothy, and Titus), Paul gave instructions for teaching sound doctrine, avoiding false teachers, and fostering an environment of spiritual health. Chronologically, 2 Timothy is the final letter Paul wrote. It offers a poignant picture of his vision, faith, and legacy.
Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, games and other activities, we seek to provide a nurturing environment where children can learn about Jesus' wonderful love for them. We also come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live out God’s truths in their lives. We welcome your children to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS Children's Ministry.
